My little passion for prefabricated steel buildings
Once your kit arrives and you have checked all the parts against your shipping invoice, lay the parts out in order of assembly and lay your concrete foundation. (Don't forget to grade and level your building area first!) If you prefer to lay concrete pads instead of a full foundation, remember to include enough space in which to embed anchor bolts for the support columns. Setting the foundation is half the work of assembling your prefabricated metal building. What's left is raising and bolting the columns and rafters into place and securing the metal sheeting for the walls. You will need to frame your windows and doors when attaching the wall girts and before raising the sheeting into place.
